Latest Response to Covid-19

May 12, 2020

Dear Friends,

It took us 12 years being in business to get us to where we are at. The past months, it had been a really rough ride for us all and we are still trying our best to navigate through this change. We faced many challenges; we lost some staff and business, rapidly adjusting our service and staying on top of sanitary guidelines. As May 26 comes around, when Wisconsin are allowed to open back. We are faced with a difficult decision to make.

Wisconsin has released its guidelines for restaurants re-opening. Some of the recommendations is to cease all self-service operations and buffets. To minimize capacity of customers and enforce social distancing, we had already decreased our tables before the extended order. Required to install partitions or barriers in dining room to separate tables/booths are some of the guidelines.

It has been a very tough decision. I would pass on opening up our dining room 50 percent. It will not be cost effective for us to re-open our dining room. I don’t think it’s worth the trouble and it’s not going to be easy to control. You can’t eat with a mask on and the safety of my staff and vice versa is a priority.

We would like to prepare ourselves in hiring the staff that we lost. To thoroughly deep clean and sanitize the restaurant. Wait till it goes 100 percent.

We thank you for everyone’s understanding. Hope that you will continue to support us during these challenging times.
